I'm not sure whether it would be helpful if Kristy and I
would try to persuade people *as list monitors*. I suppose
there are some people who simply forget about posting
procedural matters to ga-rules: They will probably be happy
to go there if reminded in a friendly way, regardless whether
they get an official or private reminder. But people who
dislike the whole idea will probably protest against any
such action, pointing to the fact that there has not been
a vote and that it's not the list monitors' job to enforce
inofficial or provisional rules.

So I don't think it would be helpful to send semi-official
reminders -- private mails, e.g. pointing to Patrick's
agenda proposal, would probably be fine. The main thing is
to get discussion started on the ga-rules list: Once it is
up and going, it will probably be viewed as unfriendly act
to move it somewhere else.
