What's this about?  Highlights
There is no single organization that meets the exact requirements for the Domain Name Support Organization ("DNSO") specified in the Bylaws of the reconstituted Internet Assigned Numbers Authority (IANA), also known as the Internet Corporation for Assigned Names and Numbers (ICANN). Therefore, such an organization must be formed.

We present here a process for the formation of such an organization. We invite interested parties to join us in completing this work, and presenting an application to ICANN for recognition as the DNSO.

Please send your comments and proposal for participation to <process@dnso.org>.  The following meeting dates are related to consultations on formation of the DNSO.
