In this particular case, Joop is something like
a candidate for public office. I don't think this
makes him fair game, but in my view, William X.
Walsh stays exactly at the limit. Two sentences
contain criticism:
"Mr Teernstra's history with the IDNO is anything but
positive."
"he goes his own way, even in defiance of a majority of
those he represents, simply because he believes that his
views are right and he knows better what is in their best
interest than they do."
In my view (open for debate!), this kind of 'warning'
against a person -- regardless of whether it is true or
not (which is a matter which I cannot prove or disprove)
-- is not inappropriate when that person stands for office.
To be clear, I would be absolutely happy if the stupid
IDNO-was-captured-no-it-wasn't-yes-it-was odyssey ended.
But I think the barrier for a suspension is higher.
