[nc-budget] After a long search....DNSO Expenses

Hi to all:

After a long search, I have found what I was looking for: DNSO Expenses

Report of Expenses of AFNIC for year 2000
http://www.dnso.org/secretariat/2000.AFNIC-DNSO.html

Report on Legal Advise for Speach Freedom in mailing lists
http://www.dnso.org/clubpublic/nc-budget/Arc00/msg00201.html

Aprooved Budget for 2001-2002
http://www.dnso.org/clubpublic/nc-budget/Arc00/msg00243.html

I should say that expenses are reasonable, taking in count the cost of life of
France. However, I think is time that the NC thinks that not everybody has
the same money to spend and I encourage to the NC to search alternatives less
expensier and the same effective to run properly DNSO services.

I also have to say this: the NC has to begin to reduce costs. We cannot
follow spending money that compromise the budgets of the organizations members
of the constituencies, even if such organizations are willing to donate such
money.

We have to begin to manage in an effective way the money DNSO can get. We
cannot play in this way with the pocket of the peolple.
We cannot increase the expenses of DNSO because this
will compromise also the participation of many stakeholders. Or...what do you
think? ...That many organizations are willing to pay money for membership fees
in order to participate in a process that it is suppoused to be accesible for
all? Is it suppoused that a constituency has to be denied to vote when every
year the DNSO increase its expenses without even try to search other
alternatives?

But I will propose solutions...in my next e-mail.

Best Regards
Vany
