Report from the list monitors

== Suspensions
There have been no suspensions in the last week.
(All suspensions are posted to the GA main list.)

== Warnings
Jim Fleming has been warned not to violate the
posting limit. (8-Jul-01)

== Pending complaints
There are currently five complaints pending.

== How to make a complaint
To complain about a message on the GA list or one of the
GA specific purposes lists, please send a mail to
ga-abuse@dnso.org, specifying
- the sender of the message(s)
- what message(s) the complaint is about (if possible,
  include the URL in the archives) and
- what rule was violated
Please use the address ga-abuse@dnso.org only to make
complaints about list rules violations!

== List rules
The agreed mailing list rules for the GA are laid down
in http://www.dnso.org/dnso/notes/2000.GA-ga-rules.html
In particular:
- The messages must be relevant to the business of the GA
- The messages must observe a minimum of decorum, including:
  - Not indulging in personal attacks, insults or slander
  - Not using offensive language
- If the GA Chair or a list monitor asks for a limit to the
  number of posts per person per day, this must be respected
- The size of messages should be kept reasonable (there
  should be a VERY good reason to send a message of more
  than 10 Kbytes).

== Posting limit
The Chair of the GA has set the posting limit at *five* postings
per 24 hour time period, calculated according to the time of
the sender.

== List monitors
The list monitors are appointed by the elected Chair of the
GA. The list monitor team currently consists of Kristy McKee
and Alexander Svensson.
