Re: [ga-abuse] quoting banned members' comments

In general terms, absolutely. Harald, however, has mentioned that there's
nothing we can do to stop it except impose on the re-poster responsibility
for any breaches of list decorum included in the banned poster's email.
That makes sense to me.
Of course, Jeff Williams is the only person involved as Joe Baptista is not
posting. I generally ignored William X. Walsh's provocations when he was
banned.
It is my view, stated several times, that Jeff William is a poster of the
"me too" variety. Very few of his postings have any content. All he is
doing is propogating his sigfile throughout the internet with cross-postings
to GA, ICANN-EUROPE, NCDNHC, IDNO, and DOMAIN-POLICY as well as all the GA
sublists. He is also very good at it.
The person who is most likely to repeat Jeff's postings is Eric Dierker. A
majority of the panel has now agreed that Eric should be suspended himself.
I have argued that the current suspension of Jeff Williams should continue
across all of the sublists.
Elisabeth has imposed cross-posting restrictions of the above lists. I am
certain that Jeff is also posting to lists that I don't know about as well
as using cc's and bcc's.
Hopefully our current actions will curb some of these practices. However, I
am disturbed at the amount of effort needed to keep these people under
control.
But I thank you for your support.
Regards
Patrick
