to keep you up to speed: the ISPCP will be meeting in the afternoon (from 1-5
pm) as we want to give our members a chance to arrive in the morning (most
prefer not having to travel on weekends if possible). I presume that most other
constituencies will be handling this similarly. Just so that we get an overview:
does anyone know which organisations are member in more than one
constituency and do NOT send more than one representative?

Of course it would be informative to be able to attend other constituency's
meetings as well. Unfortunately, the usual tight ICANN timeframe doesn't even
leave space for the NC to really consider what has happened in the
constituencies and the GA. What topics are there currently being discussed
within your constituencies?

I'll start and be the first to give a quick overview:

- role of the NC (as most will remember from Yokohama, we have a rather critical
position here as we believe the NC should be much more proactive)

- new TLDs (specific conference call taking place mid-October, after most of the
comment period, can give you more details then).

Of course, at-large elections are also of importance right now but will IMO no
longer be subject to major discussions in L.A.

I hope to get some input and ideas - any suggestions for a time slot to meet in
L.A.? Andrew would obviously prefer getting those asap. After the constituencies
on Monday so that we all get the newest, up-to-date input on discussions?

Thanks for taking the initiative here!

Best regards,
Anne-Kathrin
