Subject: Re: DNSO secretariat
Philip:
I know how important this is to the DNSO and we, too, would like to see
it done. The reality is, however, that we are not likely to be able to get to
them for another couple of weeks which will take us into the MdR meetings. It
is not that we love the DNSO less, but that there are other agreements that
have been in the pipeline even longer and must be at the head of the queue for
now.
I appreciate your and your NC colleagues patience. It should not be too
long now.
With regards
Stuart
Stuart,
I realise that ICANN staff are
very busy right now and Louis in particular. However, there is a growing
sense of frustration here that introduction of an efficient DNSO secretariat
is being delayed because we have been waiting for around two months for two
draft contracts from ICANN. As you know ICANN manages DNSO funds and agreed
to be the contracting party on behalf of the DNSO.
Could you see this is put onto
the priority list?
Philip Sheppard
NC Chair
