Subject: Temporal new e-mail address
Hi to all:
Due to unexpected changes in the infraestructure of the SDNP/Panama office, and other unexpected non-technical events we are facing since three weeks ago, SDNP/Panama servers are down.
Still I am in New York and I expect to go back to Panama on July 1rst. I hope that by then all be fixed.
Please, use for all pertaining mailing lists the following temporal address:
vany_martinez@yahoo.com
and for all personal communication the following e-mail address:
ceo@vany.org
My apologizes for any inconveniences and for your understanding.
Cheers
Vany

Vany-
Thus far, every member of the Names Council Budget Committee, except you,
has responded to my attached note of 11 June recommending that we pay Maca
Jamin for her services to the Names Council at the invoiced level. I do not
want to proceed on this matter, or these payments, unless we either have
unanimous support within the Committee or have given any member of the
Committee a chance to state and discuss their objections, if anyone has any
objections.
If you have no objections to our making this payment, could you please
confirm that? If you do, that's fine: we'll withhold action and discuss
them at our next meeting.
Thanks,
Roger

Subject: [nc-budget] $2100 WORTH OF INVOICES
Attached are four invoices for Names Council teleconferences that Maca Jamin
has presented. They amount to around U.S.$2,100. While some details remain
to be clarified (e.g. exactly who is the payee), they all seem to me to be
reasonable and are within both the budget and the Budget Committee's
spending authority.
Rather than hold a meeting of the Budget Committee to approve these
expenditures, I ask that you each respond with your approval so we can get
the payment to Maca soon.
If there are any objections from any Committee member, then I would suggest
that we hold on this expense authorization until the next regular meeting of
the Budget Committee when we can discuss the matter.

Subject: Tr: NC Teleconference invoices
Dear Roger,
I am forwarding to you, in your capacity of a Budget Committee Chair, a copy
of the invoices already sent to Louis, for the work I have done since
January 2001 (invoice for December has already been settled). If I have
understood well, the NC has now a payment procedure in place which will, I
do hope, enable processing my invoices. too.
Thank you for your help .
Kind regards,
Maca Jamin
.
