RE: [nc-budget] In need of information about budget lines of periods 2000-2001 and 2001-2002

Vany,

I would very much like to know what DNSO services are not accessible to the
NCDNHC. Whether or not NCDNHC members use DNSO services is another issue.

I suspect that it might be true of all constituencies that some of their
members do not use some of the DNSO services (e.g., the DNSO website). It
would be helpful if you would identify specific DNSO services that you think
are not useful or essential.

Subject: [nc-budget] In need of information about budget lines of
periods 2000-2001 and 2001-2002

Dear fellows:

As you may know, I am intending to stablish an strategy to collect all the
money in order to pay NCDNHC dues to DNSO.
Part of this strategy is explain the NCDNHC and any external sponsor all
the benefits that constituencies receive paying this expenses. Some people
has raised privately to me concerns already about services that NCDNHC
doesn't have access and still it is neded to pay. I need to explain why
we have to share DNSO expenses even if constituencies are not direct users
of such services. How will I explain, for example, why NCDNHC have also
to share the expense of the consultant that Erica talked about in a
previous e-mail, if I don't know why this consultant was hired, and what is
he doing? or how would I explain that NCDNHC have to share all Secretariat
expenses (Elizabeth Services and AFNIC services) if the NCDNHC is not a
direct user of it?
I even need to know some background of how the Names Council agreeded that
all constituencies have to share expenses instead of other alternatives of
collecting money.
I really need a guidance in this issue. I need to know expenses made
during the period 2000-2001 and the budget lines aprooved for 2001-2002, in
order to evaluate its direct or indirect incidency to the constituency, if
I want to design and implement a proper strategy to collect such a money to
pay.

Please, if any one can send me this information as soon as possible, I
would appreaciate it a lot. If no one of you is in position of give me
such information, then please, indicate me the name and e-mail of the
appropiate person to direct my inquires.

Erica and I, in Melbourne, talked about the subject of NCDNHC debts. And
I told her: "I, personally, am a person that always complies with its
debts, because for me is important to pay the monetary compromises
adquired. Therefore, I understand that has debts, and I am taking this
issue as personal...and I will do all the possible that is in my hands for
accomplish our compromises".

I reiterate this compromise of making all what is in my hands to collect
money to pay our debts. But please, also I need help in collecting all
the information that I need to make this real. Not everybody is willing to
cooperate if doesn't knows or feels a direct benefit to the constituency.

Thanks a lot, in advance for all the information you can provide me.

Best Regards
Vany
