I'm afraid I have to disagree with your assessment for participation here.
It is not up to the individuals here to provide education although that is
often undertaken as a matter of politeness and desire to assist.
If you look at http://www.icann.org/dnso/dnso.htm you will find the
following passage:
"A General Assembly (GA) open to all who are willing to contribute effort
to the work of the DNSO. The participants in the GA should be individuals
who have a knowledge of and an interest in issues pertaining to the areas
for which the DNSO has primary responsibility, and who are willing to
contribute time, effort and expertise to the work of the DNSO, including
work item proposal and development, discussion of work items, draft
document preparation, and participation in research and drafting committees
and working groups."
From the above it is obvious that to a large degree it is supposed that
participants in the GA will have some knowledge/expertise or skills to
offer. At the least they will have an interest in the areas the GA is
involved in, such an interest would include doing research to fill in the
knowledge gaps any participant may have. We all have some, no one knows it
all or at least I haven't met anyone yet who fits that bill.
Nor can it be expected that the other participants here will have the time
or resources to assist other participants gain the necessary knowledge. I
would assume the majority of participants do so as volunteers here and they
have limited time to contribute. I know that is true in my case. I have
my own researches to undertake and can not always spare time to assist
others.
So, the sharing of knowledge and clarification of text in this forum is not
a right but a courtesy extended to others. It is something to be
appreciated and give thanks for, it is not something to be demanded or
criticised.
