Subject: [ga-abuse] additional list rules & guidelines, etc for the DNSO GA

Hey Jim,

Welcome to the DNSO GA-Roots Discussion group!

FYI and for your future convenience, please review the following:

1) post limits: five posts per day per list is the limit, rule breakers
have been subject to the same consequences as those who break the rules
listed at the DNSO web site. Also, NO CROSS POSTING.

2) language use: I get into trouble here often. We are supposed to tone
down our communication so that the End-Users and Lawyers and other
non-technical or newly technical folks can understand us. This is not an
easy task; but I've discovered that if I can communicate the concept well
enough, someone else technical usually jumps in to help others stay
involved in the conversation. It's not that the lowest common denominator
needs to be catered to; but the others do...

3) did I mention no cross posting?

4) There is a list, GA-Full, that is not monitored. All other DNSO GA
lists are monitored and subject to the rules posted
at: http://www.dnso.org/dnso/notes/2000.GA-ga-rules.html in addition to
the rules/guidelines included above.

If you have questions about DNSO GA rules, list monitors, etc. Please ask
me. Although I am NOT the expert, I have access to them.

:)

Thanks for joining the DNSO's GA-Roots discussion group. With all your
experience and knowledge, you can be a huge help!!
